The 2025Ā annualĀ dinner andĀ AGMĀ has now been booked at the Park Hotel in Montrose on Saturday 14 June.

Estimated cost will be around Ā£40 per head (to be confirmed)

Trip itinerary

A popular membersā€™ gathering to catch up with old and new friends preceded by the AGM to confirm society business and priorities for the coming come year.

The Dinner may be restricted to 80 places. The AGM is restricted to members only, but membersā€™ guests are welcome at the dinner.

The nearest hill ranges are in the Angus Glens but Perthshire, Deeside and Fife hills are all reasonably close by. Montrose offers pleasant coastal walking, with a local lighthouse, and the highly rated Air Station Heritage Museum, whilst the volunteer run Caledonian steam railway is just along the road.

Accommodation

Members to arrange own accommodation.

The Park Hotel has a range of rooms and has indicated that limited camping may be available in the grounds.
Camping is Ā£25 per tent/night and campers must take hotel breakfast (Ā£15)

There are numerous other local accommodation options including camping (South Links Holiday Park), but no hostel.

Cost

Estimated cost is around Ā£40 for the meal.
